The check register must be transmitted to Drake before you can receive fees from the bank. When the bank receives the check register, preparer fees are usually deposited on the next business day. Immediately after the checks are printed, your system should initiate the process to transmit the check register to Drake. Transmitting the check print record to Drake tells the bank it can authorize the check. Your bank will not authorize a check until it is notified that you have printed it. The taxpayer may not be able to cash the check if you have not sent the check print record. If you are using bank products, it is extremely important to transmit check print records to Drake Software immediately after printing checks for taxpayers. I need to transmit my check print records. The bank will not cash my taxpayer's check.
